Who we are

This website is operated by Ashtar Rent a Car, a car rental company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question, contact us at —.

Information we collect

When you use our quote form or quick booking widget, you enter your name, mobile number, preferred car class and rental type. It is placed into a WhatsApp message that you review and send to us yourself, and a copy of the request is emailed to us through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email delivery service. We do not store it on this website.

When you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone to book, we collect the details needed for the rental, such as your ID or passport, driving licence and delivery location.

How we use it

• To reply to your request and send you a quote.
• To arrange your rental, delivery and collection.
• To meet legal and insurance requirements for car rental in the UAE.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses Google Ads and Google Analytics. They use cookies and similar technologies to measure visits and to tell us when a visit leads to an enquiry (for example, a click on our WhatsApp or call buttons). When you submit our quote form, your mobile number may be shared with Google in hashed form to measure advertising results ("enhanced conversions").

You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and block cookies in your browser settings.

Third parties

Messages you send us go through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep rental records only as long as needed for the rental and to meet legal, insurance and accounting requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at — or on WhatsApp.
